More About Me

Hi, I’m Jason Hill, a tech enthusiast with a diverse background in emergency services, military service, and now, cybersecurity. I spent several years as a 911 dispatcher after serving as a medic in the U.S. Army, experiences that have shaped my perspective on problem-solving and staying calm under pressure.

These days, I’m fully immersed in the world of technology, particularly cybersecurity and cloud computing. I’m passionate about building and maintaining my home lab, which includes everything from Kubernetes clusters to Docker containers. I’m constantly learning, whether it’s through hands-on projects in my lab, studying for certifications like CompTIA Security+ and Network+, or exploring the latest trends in cybercrime investigation.

When I’m not deep in tech, you’ll find me gaming, working on leathercraft projects, or catching up on YouTube videos about tool restoration and cyber education. I’ve recently returned to college to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity with a minor in Criminal Justice, blending my interests in technology and law.

This blog is my space to share what I’ve learned, reflect on my experiences, and engage with others who share similar interests. I’m always open to connecting with fellow tech enthusiasts, so feel free to reach out.

Thanks for stopping by!
